En esta ocasión quiero compartir un par de LPs bastante particulares del año 1972, ediciones del ya nombrado sello RCA Victor, versión nacional. Me refiero a los "Todo Mezclado Discotheque", volúmen 6 y 7. Desgraciadamente son los únicos de esta serie que he podido aquilatar, desconociendo cuántos más se editaron en aquél tiempo. Lo único que puedo asegurar es que previo a éstos hubieron otros 5... Como pueden notar, para llegar a esta conclusión no se necesitó excesivo trabajo intelectual o de investigación. En fin, "es lo que hay", como decimos en mi país, y puedo asegurar que serán de vuestro gusto, al igual que los anteriormente publicados en este blog.
Lo particular de esta serie es que reunen un repertorio de intérpretes y canciones que se habían lanzado al mercado por el mismo sello, en ediciones de album o en recopilatorios como los Capissimos. Precisamente, ambos volúmenes, practicamente reinventan los temas que traen estos Lps, esta vez jugando a las mezclas para ser usados en las fiestas más que para sentarse a escucharlos. Así se pasa de ritmos con harto movimiento, generalmente a cargo de los representantes ingleses y argentinos, hasta canciones de corte más romántico que debieron favorecer más de alguna conquista en aquellos años.
De esta forma, el "Todo Mezclado Discotheque Vol. 6", contiene un total de 12 temas por cara, resumidos en poco más de 15 minutos cada una, partiendo por el clásico "Poppa Joe" de los ingleses The Sweet, hasta "Vivo en un mundo feliz" del Sr. Donald (no el personaje de Walt Disney, sino el cantante actor de la república hermana de Argentina). El Volúmen 7, en tanto, reune 26 temas entre ambas caras, con sonidos tan diversos como "Mujer" y "Safari Salvaje" de Barrabás y "Los Días del Arco Iris" del italiano Nicola Di Bari... Bueno, en realidad podría seguir dedicando muchos más caracteres al contenido de estos discos, así que prefiero dejar hasta acá esta tarea y pasar mejor a la descripción de cada una de sus caras:

Hola Música Libre; en realidad fué una sorpresa encontrar tu visita en mi e-casa y estoy feliz por ello.
En realidad en mi blog hay de toda clase de música, pero la de Música Libre es especial para mi porque era adolescente en esa época, y aunque no tenía televisor me las arreglaba para ver el programa por ahí, en realidad en mi pueblito en el sur eran escasos los TV por esa época.
